Luis Hernan is currently pursuing his PhD at Newcastle University collaborating with ArchaID research group. Luis interest in Interaction Design and space can be traced back to college. Whilst studying his bachelor’s in architecture, he started taking an interest in computer graphics and took a couple of optional modules in computer science. His masters dissertation explored the concept of the Architectural User Interface, and developed a video-prototype to showcase an interaction paradigm based on the emergent architectonic network created in physical research spaces. His current research endeavours concentrate in adaptive architecture, digital thickening of space and hertzian waves.
Luis has also a strong interest in photography and cinema. He has produced and edited videos for an assortment of commercial clients.
